MC Yogi and Amanda Giacomini are a husband and wife team who have been co-teaching yoga classes since 2001 when they founded their studio Yoga Toes Studio in Point Reyes, CA.

They began their studies with Indian master Shri K. Pattabhi Jois and local San Francisco teacher Larry Schultz of It’s Yoga. Over the years they were influenced by the creativity and diversity of many esteemed American teachers and while rooted in the Vinyasa tradition, they offer a a more creative, medium intensity, flow practice that is interwoven with philosophy, storytelling, music and art.

MC Yogi and Amanda have taught all over the world at yoga festivals and conferences, yoga studios, teaching centers, Asian Art museums and even the White House. From inner-city elementary schools to Stanford University, they are committed to bringing the benefits of yoga to people of all ages, and in 2011, they were honored to become Ambassadors to Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative.

Over the years they have supported many yoga based charities including; Off the Mat Into the World, Africa Yoga Project, Yoga Aid, Asian Classics Input Project, Headstand, Yoga Prison Project, and more.
